Looking back at our balcony from the path on the north side of building one.

  • People who do the limbo are, of course, limber... but this guy was just CRAZY! You see that flaming stick in his mouth? After successfully going under the fire, he dropped the stick off the front of the stage! Luckily, he retrieved it quickly... and put it out with his mouth!
  • Room 1206: Building 1, Floor 2. It was a wonderful room, in what has to be the best building to stay in!
  • There is art everywhere... even in the light panel outside of our room.
  • Looking out of the front door of the room, you can see the top of the Heliconia Grill.
  • Needless to say, the grounds were green and lush.
  • Looking off of the second floor of building one, this is the path leading toward the lobby and pool. It starts at the center of the building.

  • The grounds of Couples Negril includes several ponds, filled with fish.
  • We would suggest taking some extra bread at breakfast, so you can feed all these little guys.
  • Standing in the gardens and looking out over the ponds, you will realize that life is about much more than going to work and running errands.
  • Jonathan took many of these pictures while Hilliary was trying to sleep off a bad migraine. When she heard that he saw a turtle, she was upset that she missed it... good thing he snapped this photo... it made her smile!
  • The Spa, just north of building one. We didn't visit it ourselves, but saw many happy couples emerging from that building.
  • The variety of plants and flowers in the gardens was spectacular!
  • Walking toward the lobby, the exercise and game rooms are on the left.
  • On the left is the Cardio Room, and straight ahead, the stairs up to the lobby.
  • For those who choose to lug their laptop around, or who have a WiFi PDA, internet access can be had in and around the lobby. For everyone else, there are three computers set up and available 24 hours a day. Two are in this little alcove.
  • One internet-enabled computer is located in this freezer, I mean, well air-conditioned room. This was one of our favorite spots, whether day or night. Hilliary's grandmother had heart surgery while we were on vacation, and having the internet allowed us to enjoy our vacation, and keep tabs on everything at home. Thankfully, her grandma pulled through with flying colors!
  • The Piano Bar: All kinds of interesting things happen in here, particularly after 10:30pm. We never really took advantage of it, as we were dead tired by that time on most nights, or had other activities to engage in.
  • The Main Lobby: From the moment you arrive, you realize that this is going to be a different kind of vacation, what with the chilled towels and champagne. This is a great place to just sit back and relax. From here, you witness every human emotion, from the excitement of those arriving, to the depression of those saying goodbye.
