The standard rest stop.

  • After we were fooled (a shuttle came up, but it wasn't ours), Jonathan ran back to take just a few more pictures of the view!
  • Hmm, this is about the time when you consider skipping your flight, and ponder how long it would take before Couples has you arrested, or something.
  • The Couples driveway... our roadway to tears.
  • Everyone's luggage, waiting for the shuttle.
  • And there it is... the airport shuttle. The air conditioning on this bus was great!
  • The road leading back to Montego Bay.
  • Leaving the small towns outside of Negril.
  • Cute little house...
  • DINNER!!! Uh, rather, cute little goat.
  • Nice home up on the hill.

  • That bus in front of us is probably heading back to Couples Negril.
  • Our driver was Errol, like Errol Flynn, hence the inspiration for the name of his tour company.
  • He was a good guy, so we took pictures of his tour packages, for next time.
  • We seemed to spend quite some time here, as people enjoyed their last beers/smokes/snacks.
  • The ocean is so near... yet so far.
  • One of our fellow travelers decided to give some local youth his leftover Jamaican currency. After getting it, they ran across the highway, high-fiving each other!
  • Yeah... someday he'll apply for a liquor license... right.
  • So after scoring cash, the kids ran down and collected a half-dozen of their friends! They were all dancing by the roadside, hoping for more.
  • Of course, the weather on the drive back was much nicer than when we arrived.
